Fun Facts about Morena Baccarin

1.- Es de origen Brasileño pero se crio la mayor parte de su vida en New York.

2.- Su mamá es la actriz brasileña Vera Setta y su papá es Fernando Baccarin trabaja como editor de noticias para una empresa de television.

3.- Cuando niña Morena pensaba ser Fotografa y dedicarse a algo diferente a lo que hacian en su familia (su mamá y su tio son actores).

4.- Es de acendencia italo-brasileña.

5.- Cuando nacio su mamá no sabia como la iban a llamar, el articulo del periodico decia "little baby morena doesn't have a name" (en portugues "morena" significa morena osea de pelo negro igual que en español) cuando su mamá vio el periodico dijo "No, ese es el nombre" y asi le pusieron Morena lol.

6.- Le gusta mucho leer, le encanta shakespeare.



7.- Disfruta mucho cocinar.



8.- Tiene un hermano menor que estudia diseño grafico y escultura en New York "es muy artista".



9.- Asistio a la mundialmente famosa Julliard School of the Performing Arts.



10.- Cuando tenia 3 meses aparecio en una obra como el niño Jesus por que tras bambalinas no dejaba de llorar y su mamá tuvo que agarrarla LOL.



11.- Fue dama de honor en la boda de su compañera de Firefly Jewel Staite, las dos son mejores amigas.

12.-Vive en New York y Los Angeles dividiendo su tiempo entre las ciudades en funcion de si esta trabajando en escenario o pantalla.

13.- Crecio en el mundo del espectaculo, por lo tanto, dice que cuando era chica ella pensaba que todo el mundo vivia de eso.


14.- Su primer papel en peliculas fue como la protagonista en "Way off Brodway" en 2001, ese mismo año gano un premio de "Audiencie Choice Award" por "Mejor Pelicula" en el Festival de Cine de Stony Brook. En 2002 gano un el premio a "Mejor Actriz" en el Festival de Cine de Wine Country.

15.- Cree que la gente deveria ver la serie "V" en la que participa como Anna "Because it's awesome" LOL.

16.- Cuando leyo en el libreto de "V" que los extraterrestres podian llevar años viviendo entre nosotros, se asusto y se puso a buscar informacion pero no encontro nada (noticias Morena, ellos si estan entre nosotros xD).

17.- Ella defiende a capa y espada que Anna (su personaje en "V") no es mala, solo es una exelente lider que se preocupa por la supervivencia de su especie.

OlgaV: Hi Lauren, How are you? :)

LaurenL: Hi Olga

OlgaV: I know that you're really really busy, and don't has time for these things. If you can't answer don't matter, i understand, so don't worry. I just want to ask you some questions.
You're in the next project of StarKid? and if the answer is "no" ... it sucks! XD

LaurenL: I am not in the next StarKid project because I wasn't able to get back to Michigan this month to do it :( I'm sure it will be awesome and I wish I could've been a part of it!

OlgaV: You can speak spanish?

LaurenL: I do speak Spanish, although I used to be a lot better at it when I was in school and actually going to Spanish class!

OlgaV: What you think about that the AVPM fans asked Tom Felton about you? (haha nearly had a heart attack when the people told him that draco was a woman XD hahaha)

LaurenL: That Tom Felton video WAS crazy! He was very confused that I was a girl, haha!

and finally...

OlgaV: What you would tell to all the guys who love the acting and hope to make it a lifestyle in the future?

LaurenL: For people who want to be in acting, my advice would be to just learn as much as you can about acting and about all of the different aspects of theatre. Soak up everything you can!
